About Nicole

My name is Nicole Andresen.  I am an Innovative Learning Specialist at an elementary school in Janesville, WI.  Prior to this position, I was a classroom teacher for six years.  I am very passionate about the implementation of technology into the everyday classroom, as well as all things library and STEM.

I was born and raised in IL, outside Chicago. I moved to Madison, WI to attend Edgewood College where I graduated with my teaching degree.  I currently reside outside of Janesville, WI with my family.

I received my Masters of Science in Education degree with a specialization in Integrating Technology into the Classroom through Walden University.  I teach graduate courses and professional developments on technology, web tool, creating relationships, and integration of STEM tools.  I am SMART certified, a Google Educator (2014), a Fund for Teachers Fellow (2016), WSRA Leadership in Technology recipient (2017), STEM building coordinator and Building Assistant.

Aside from my love of teaching and technology, I also enjoy boating, reading, sports, outdoors, movies, music, photography, and spending time with my family.

"Teachers need to integrate technology seamlessly...

instead of viewing it as an add-on, an afterthought, an event."
